FAQ
These are the most asked questions and concerns about iMp3:
- I use Windows Vista and the program isn't working. The way to fix this is by right clicking on the .exe or shortcut and choose 'Run as Admin' option. This should fix the problems.
- How do I listen to my music remotely? This option is not ready for the public yet and is still being tested to get all of the kinks out. iMp3 version 1.x may not include it at all and instead will be released with the upcoming (and almost complete) version 2.0.
- Are there any other schemes? No. We haven't continued to create schemes for iMp3 version 1.x. Instead, version 2.0 will have a whole mess of schemes to work with.
- Why can't iMp3 see some of my music files I play in other mp3 players? The most likely reason for this is that some file types are not compatible with the current version of iMp3. These file types would include .m4a and a slew of others that have become more prevalent. When iMp3's core was designed, the main type of audio was the .mp3 format. Well times have changed and that is one more change you will see in iMp3 version 2.0.
- When is iMp3 version 2.0 coming out? It will be released very shortly. Bugs are being worked out of it as we speak.
